RECREATION DIRECTOR - TOWN OF WINDHAMWillimantic, CTThe Town of Windham seeks qualified applicants for the position of Recreation Director.
The Recreation Director performs administrative, supervisory, and professional work in theplanning, development, and operations of a comprehensive public recreation program for thecommunity.

Must possess a Bachelor's Degree from a recognized college or university in RecreationAdministration or Physical Education; plus four (4) years of progressively responsible recreationadministration experience, including at least two (2) years in a supervisory capacity; or in lieuthereof, an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides theknowledge, skills, and ability to perform the essential functions of the position.
Must possess and retain a valid Connecticut Motor Vehicle Operator's License.
CPR and FirstAid certification, required.
Certified Pool Operator, required.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office andG-Suite applications, required.
Bilingual (English and Spanish), preferred.
This is a full-time exempt position (40 hrs/wk); Salary Grade 8; Salary Range $75,428 to $91,286.
